Healing from childhood trauma, attachment wounds and complex trauma often requires more than simply talking about your experiences. This work takes time, intention and space to slow down enough for your nervous system to feel stable and safe while exploring the patterns that have helped you survive.

Because of the depth of this work, 90 minute therapy sessions are my standard session length for private pay clients. These extended sessions allow us to move beyond simply checking in or managing the week and create the time needed for meaningful therapeutic work, including EMDR, Parts work, somatic interventions, and nervous system regulation. Ninety minute sessions are not simply longer—they create the space for deeper, more intentional trauma therapy. Rather than feeling rushed, we have time to slow down, understand what your mind and body are communicating, engage in meaningful processing, and ensure you leave each session feeling grounded and supported.

Unlike traditional 50-minute sessions, 90 minutes allows us to settle into the work without feeling rushed. There is time to prepare, process, regulate, and integrate before ending the session- an approach that is especially beneficial for individuals healing from childhood trauma, attachment wounds, dissociation, and complex PTSD.

Insurance companies often limit therapy sessions to approximately 55 minutes, so clients using insurance will generally be scheduled within those requirements.

Every person heals differently. Together, we’ll determine the pace and approach that best supports your needs while creating an environment of stability, predictability, and safety.

What You Can Expect:

During our work together, we will:

-Develop a deeper understanding of how past experiences continue to influence your present life.

-Explore the protective patterns that once helped you survive with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.

-Build greater nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and self-understanding

-Strengthen your capacity for healthier relationships, clearer boundaries, and a more connected sense of self.

-Move beyond survival toward a life that feels more authentic, meaningful and fulfilling.

-Develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, allowing you to live from a place that feels more authentic, connected and aligned with who you truly are.

Healing isn’t about fixing what’s wrong with you. It’s about understanding how you’ve learned to survive, appreciating those adaptions for the role they’ve played and creating enough safety to discover who you are beyond them.
